Visualising a learning platform
Our Academy is National Grid’s one-stop-shop for learning across the global business. It was crucial that the visual identity engaged consistently with everyone in the business, across all channels of communication, but was also aesthetically interesting, fun and memorable. WPA Pinfold created a bold and vibrant identity, using emotive and positive language to inspire individuals within the business.
A range of communications were developed to inform employees about the Academy, including a colourful poster suite, environmental graphics and a microsite to accompany training. Upon completion of any given course, employees receive a certificate to formally certify their training. This visual identity gives the Academy a unique positioning within National Grid, where learning is represented as an exciting and enjoyable experience.
