Restoring a sense of pride
The prestigious awards ceremony, now in its second year, was the culmination of npower’s internal recognition scheme called ‘Applause’. From this process arose some exceptional stories from field and customer service employees, and the Pride event was a true celebration of success. The awards were a way of saying thank you and to show that people’s efforts are never taken for granted. Winners were presented with a personalised trophy and a cheque.
WPA Pinfold gave the event an exclusive and high-end feel through the event branding and visual identity. Attendees were greeted with a red carpet reception and an awaiting pack of paparazzi. The venue was themed to look like a TV studio with lights, cameras and a floor manager. The on-screen presentations led the audience through each category and the background to the nominations. Key deliverables for this project encompassed visual identity design, a teaser poster campaign, nomination communications, invitations, animations, bespoke badges, personalised awards and a winners book.
